Child safety standards

SwabiConnect has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards apply to every post, comment, profile, image, video, and message on the platform.

Last updated November 2026

SwabiConnect is a community platform for the people of Swabi and the surrounding areas. We are committed to keeping children safe and to preventing the use of our service for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Zero tolerance

We prohibit all CSAE and CSAM. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any sexual content involving a person under 18, whether real, edited, or generated.
  • Grooming, sexual extortion (sextortion), and sexualised contact with minors.
  • Trafficking, advertising, or linking to CSAE/CSAM in any form.
  • Content that sexualises or endangers children, including inappropriate comments about a minor's body.

There is no context in which this content is allowed. Accounts that share, request, or promote it are removed permanently, and we do not reinstate them.

Who may use SwabiConnect

SwabiConnect is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create or keep an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove the account and its content.

Prevention and detection

  • Uploaded images and videos pass through automated malware and explicit-content scanning before publication.
  • Content involving apparent minors is prioritised for human moderator review.
  • Every post, comment, and profile has an in-app report action.
  • Accounts can be restricted, blocked, or removed while a report is investigated.
  • Publishing rights are limited and can be revoked at any time.

How to report a child safety concern

Use the Report action on the post, comment, or profile and choose a safety reason. Reports that mention a minor are reviewed with priority. You can also email our child safety contact directly:

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Do not download, forward, or store suspected CSAM yourself; report the link or post to us and to the relevant authorities.

What happens after a report

  • We review the reported content and the surrounding context.
  • Apparent CSAE/CSAM is removed without delay once confirmed.
  • The responsible account is blocked and permanently removed.
  • We preserve relevant records and cooperate with law enforcement and child protection organisations as required by applicable law.
  • We report suspected CSAM to the appropriate regional and national authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.

Contact and accountability

Our designated child safety contact is prepared to answer questions about these standards, our reporting process, and our CSAM prevention practices. This page is publicly available to everyone, including people who do not have a SwabiConnect account, and it cannot be edited by users.
